Backyard Blast Raffle Rules and Regulations

  1. The Backyard Blast raffle ticket prices are a single ticket is $20 or 6 for $100. Only 3,500 tickets will be sold. 
  2. Total retail value of Grand Prize Backyard Oasis package is $11,600 (taxes included). 
  3. All persons participating in the Backyard Blast raffle must be a minimum of 18 years of age. 
  4. Ticket sales close at 2:00PM Friday June 28, 2024. 
  5. The draws will take place at Canadian Tire at 781 Norquay Drive, Winkler, MB. 
  6. All draws will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 
  7. Each ticket purchase is issued in only one person’s name and prizes will be issued only to the name of the person on the ticket. The person whose name is on the ticket is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning. 
  8. All ticket packs are considered a single purchase and all tickets are issued in one person’s name.  
  9. Tickets can only be purchased within the Province of MB. All non-residents must purchase tickets in-person at one of the ticket sale locations. 
  10. Once the Backyard Blast raffle tickets are purchased, they are non-transferable and non-refundable. 
  11. Ticket requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  12. All payments must be made in Canadian dollars. 
  13. A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket requests with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided. The Foundation has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative costs. 
  14. A complete list of all winners will be published online at www.bthcfoundation.com within 5 days after the final Grand Prize draw has been completed. Upon request to the Foundation office a listing of winners will be provided. 
  15. All prizes are tax-free. The Backyard Blast raffle ticket purchases are not tax deductible and no charitable donations receipts will be issued, as per Canada Revenue Agency regulations. 
  16. The Foundation reserves the right to use winners’ names and photos in communication, promotional and media materials. 
  17. Members of the Board of Directors and employees of the Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation, and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this lottery are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the Backyard Blast raffle. 
  18. All unclaimed prizes become property of the Foundation 90 days after the draw has been performed unless otherwise specified in these rules. We will notify winners by one telephone call. 
  19. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the contact information on their ticket is correct. 
  20. Each ticket is eligible to win one prize. 
  21. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Some restrictions may apply. 
  22. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in any advertising. 
  23. All winners will be contacted using the information provided on the ticket at the time of purchase. 
  24. The Foundation’s ticket sellers reserve the right to refuse purchasers if their safety feels compromised. 
  25. All ticket holders have the right to witness the draws. In the event we are unable to allow the draws to be open to the public due to public health restrictions, the draws will be video recorded and available to all ticket holders for viewing on social media platforms. 
  26. The draws will be drawn in order of ascending retail value.  
  27. Grand Prize winner will have 14 days from the date notifying them of their prize options to make their selection. 
  28. Winners are required to present photo identification in order to claim their prize.
